DESCRIPTION

DECOMARK is a dispersion coating based on synthetic resins used mainly for marking wood/of wood’s front cuts (construction wood, pallets, various semi-finished products…) or in a transport at longer distances of wood (for example as specific shade as per buyer’s request) through railway or ship transport.

Decomark is water-based coating which adheres to wood very well and exhibits adequate resistance to high temperatures, is permeable to water vapours and it has very good coverage.

USE

Instructions for Work: Decomark is ready for use as supplied.). The wood to which we intend to apply coating Decolor-for wood marking must be cleaned (without sawdust and degreased). In case that the wood is too wet (water stands on the wood) the grip of the coating less tangible and therefore the drying itself is prolonged.

Suitable methods for application are spraying or coating (with brush or roller). The ambient (and wood) temperature must be at least +3°C; the optimum temperature for work is from +10°C to +20°C while the relative air humidity must not exceed 80%. Thinning of the product is not required, because it is already supplied with the optimum viscosity. Exceptionally, if the coating’s viscosity is too high for application, it can be thinned up to 5% with water – the added water has to be mixed in thoroughly (until homogenous). Decomark adheres well to the wood surface, is resistant to high, vapour permeable and covers the wood surface well; the rate of evaporation is very low.

Consumption: Average consumption depends from the type and processing of the wood. Average consumption is from 0.2 l/m2  to 0.3 l/m2. The minimum coating thickness should be from 0.200 mm (200 microns) to 0.300 mm (300 microns)

Drying: The coating is dust dry after approximately 2 to 4 hours and completely dry after approximately 24 hours.

Containers:
Plastic can: 25 kg, IBC tank: 1,200 kg, 1,400 kg

Storage:
In a dry and closed room, at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, protected against frost and direct exposure to the sun and in the original/closed container.

Brush, roller, “Airless”’ system

Cleaning:
Tools should be cleaned with water and detergent immediately after use.
