DECOSTONE SS is a water-repellent, colourless (transparent) impregnation for rock. Made based on organic solvents that do not create a layer (film) and penetrates or is absorbed very well into the surface. The product/impregnation maintains the natural appearance of the underlying surface. It can be used on porous surfaces of building components, outdoors and indoors. It is suitable for protecting/impregnating walls, fireplaces etc. that are made from natural construction materials, as well as for the protection of artificial construction materials (brick, tiles, ceramics, decorative plaster elements, concrete etc.).
Due to its special composition, it can seep deep into the underlying surface. It provides additional protection against pollutants, corrosion and improves the self-cleaning effect of the impregnated surface. It also provides excellent resistance to lyes present in cement products; because it does not form a layer or film, it does not significantly alter the permeability for aqueous vapour.
- Protects the surface, but simultaneously preserves its natural appearance
- Colourless/transparent hue
- Suitable for natural and artificial construction materials
- Very good absorbency, UV stability and vapour permeability
- Excellent water-resistance and easier maintenance/cleaning
- Does not form a layer/film
- Protects the surface against pollutants and corrosion
- Improves the self-cleaning effect
- Outdoor and indoor use
Instructions for Work: Decostone SS is ready for use as supplied. For application in two coats. The second layer should be applied before the first has completely dried. Before use, the underlying surface must be clean, dry and without impurities (oil, grease etc.) and must not exposed to direct sunlight during application. The surface the coating is being to applied must be at room temperatureBefore and during use, mix the product thoroughly. The optimum temperature for work is between +5°C to +35°C, relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Work should be performed in well ventilated rooms. Use suitable personal protective equipment
Coverage: Approximately 0.2-0.5 l/m2; the coverage depends on the porosity of the underling surface it is being applied to and the method of application or tool for application.
Drying: The coating becomes dry to the touch after approx. 1 hour. Drying time depends on the weather conditions (humidity, temperature) and the type or absorbency of the material.
CONTAINERS AND STORAGE
Metal containers (with a spout): 1 l, 3 l, 20 l
